You’re getting this message a little earlier this week because this week is Easter! The biggest celebration of the Christian faith, that through Jesus death is defeated, sin is washed away, and we can have relationship and life with God for eternity.

1 Corinthians 15:55-57
55 “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

We have victory through Jesus. And this victory isn’t just for us, it is for the world. God so loved the world that He gave His only son, and He has asked us to share this good news to those around us.

For Easter we will also have a special Lifehouse Kid’s Easter program plus an Easter Egg Hunt and picnic afterwards for kids and families. The kids are going to have a great time. So I want to encourage you to take this chance to celebrate together as a church, and to invite someone who hasn’t heard this good news before to join you. If you are looking for more ways to be part of outreach, I also encourage you to be part of, or invite people to, Language Exchange + Alpha. We have been running the Alpha Course after Language Exchange and have had great discussions with people who have never been to church before about Jesus, Christianity and faith. Language Exchange is a great way to make friends, and everyone that has then stayed for Alpha has had a great time with honest and fun conversations about life. We will have Language Exchange at MK Hall from 1:30pm-2:15pm, and run Alpha directly afterwards until 3pm for anyone that wants to stay.
