More ways to enjoy Sundays in Jimbocho!

July 4, 2023

In-person services are back in full swing at Lifehouse Tokyo!
Meeting together each week at TKP Jimbocho each Sunday makes it even easier to connect, but did you know that there are a lot of ways to get involved with the community besides just joining the service?
Here are a few ideas for how to enjoy your Sundays in Jimbocho even more!

Before Church

1. Grab a coffee

There is a Tully’s Coffee across the street from the church venue that makes for a great meet-up spot to relax and chat before the service.

Tully’s Jimbocho Mitsui Building Branch: Open on Sundays from 8:00-19:00
Address: Jimbocho Mitsui Building first floor, 1-105 Kanda Jimbocho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 101-0051 (a 2-minute walk from church)

We also offer free hot coffee in the church lobby. Stop by to get a caffeine boost and meet other church members.

After Church

2. Chill out over lunch

There are several delicious restaurants open for lunch on Sundays near the church venue, from all-you-can-eat yakiniku to skillet-fried pancakes.

4. Get to know more people through connect groups

Join an interest or bible-based small group before or after church. You can check which groups are meeting in-person that day at the church’s Next Steps corner.

5. Have a picnic at Kanda Square

There are places to sit and eat in the front and back of Kanda Square with your family and friends. Grab a bite from a nearby restaurant, McDonalds, convenience store, or the Summit supermarket inside Kanda Square. The shopping center also has an indoor seating area and Tully’s cafe, making it a great option for rainy days as well.
