The Good News for Those Alone at Christmas – You Don’t Have to Stay Alone!

Christmas is coming again!

I haven’t really always planned special events on Christmas Day or celebrated in a big way.
But there is one thing I know about Christmas that makes me excited. It changed my life and fills each Christmas with joy.

I’m not going to be writing about “how to spend a good Christmas,” but instead about things I always want you to know.

For the people who are quiet celebrators, and for those who celebrate big.
For the people who want to spend it with a loved one, but can’t.
For the people who lost someone and are in the midst of sadness.
For the people who have a boyfriend/girlfriend, and for those who don’t.
For the people who got a present, and for those who didn’t.
For those who do Christmas alone, and for those who don’t.
It’s an unchanging truth.

That is-
God wants to be with you.

At Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. His birth is God’s message, “Let’s spend life together.” And that desire has never changed since the earth was created – even to this day.

I used to hate myself, closed myself off, and often used to feel lonely. But the reason I was able to change and keep on changing is because even when I couldn’t accept myself, God accepted me. He helped me rise again, saying, “Let’s live together. I want to do life with you.”

So I want you to know this too!
God loves you, He wants to do life with you, and He’s never going to leave you!

Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’). Isaiah 7:14

This Christmas, lift your eyes and search again. I think you’ll find this message from God shining in all sorts of places around you!
