Making peace is not about faking a smile and compromising on the wrong things. Rather, it’s about fighting and building up with a firm will.

Jesus loves the whole world, but He was sad about what was happening in it.
Jesus tried to become friends with everyone in the world, but He was never tarnished by its greed.
Jesus gave clear guidance to the world and was never put off, no matter how much He was criticised.

Peacemakers have gotta get strong!

So much is being said on social media and the news. Everyone has something to say.
Living in this information society, there are so many things to be overwhelmed by, right?
But you don’t have to be swayed by the world anymore because God made you and He has an awesome future prepared for you.
God can become a firm foundation for your life so that you don’t have to be swayed by anyone.

So I want to encourage you again today to read the Bible every day!
It’s not possible to live without being influenced by anything – for anyone!

So then let’s be influenced by the Bible, which helps us to live a great life! Because the Word of God has never been swayed by the world- since time began to… forever!

And every day is important! Just like how life is often likened to a boat on a voyage, we need a compass for our lives. So some deep philosophical book that someone wrote isn’t enough to guide us! A book about enlightenment that someone came up with? That’s not enough either! We need God’s living Word today. The Bible is the Word of the living God. God has been giving people a word for today for ages, and it has been the compass for people of every generation.

Can’t read the Bible every day? That’s ok! Never read the Bible before? That’s ok! Let’s try today! The Word of God will never shake – today or tomorrow, and will bring light to wherever you are.

You don’t have to be swayed by the world anymore. Let’s live strong, guided by God’s Word. And let’s go and be peacemakers in this world together. Because that’s what you are – a peacemaker.
