For what reason are you living? – You can live as yourself!

For example: no one can turn a “Mi” note into a “Doh” note. It doesn’t matter how good of a pianist you are or how much you play, a “Mi” note will still be a “Mi.”

And just as a “Mi” was made as a “Mi,” you were made as you!
And just like “Mi” makes the “Mi” sound, you should live as yourself.

But if you keep comparing yourself to others and keep trying to be something you’re not, your life will be thrown out of whack, like a keyboard that’s out of tune.

So let’s stop comparing ourselves to others! Let’s stop being jealous of those around us and obsessing over the things we don’t have! Instead, let’s focus on the things we DO have, and hone the power we’ve been given to the maximum! A “Mi” may only be able to be a “Mi,” but it can be one that’s pushed to the limit!

Now, some of you might be thinking: “It’s too late for that. My life is ALREADY out of tune.”
But I’ve got good news for you! God is not only the one who made us, but also the one who can best give us a proper “tune up.” Everything in your past, the injuries you’ve received from others, your busy schedule, all the different voices in the world all clamoring for your attention- all these things can confuse you and make you wonder what the reason for your existence is.

But God, through his word, can unravel that confusion and can teach you the reason for your life. And through that, you can become perfectly in tune. And if you live as yourself, you can be polished up to your full potential, living a life that shines like a light in the darkness.

Nobuki

John 1:1-4
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
