When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray.
But when you follow the revelation of the word, heaven’s bliss fills your soul. (Proverbs 29:18 TPT)

We’ve been talking about relationships of obeying each other and obeying the same thing, so today we are talking about relationships with shared goals. When both people respect each other as teammates and follow the same coach, they’re able to work towards an exciting goal together.

It’s the same in marriage. The best marriage is one in which you can share, refine, and help in each other’s core life goals. And when one of you stumbles and feels like giving up, the other can be there to help so you can move forward together.

Is your current relationship going to lead to a marriage relationship in which you share a common goal?

A marriage partner is not your goal. A marriage partner is someone who shares a goal with you.

It doesn’t mean that you have to be the same in everything or think the same way about everything as your partner. On the contrary, it means having your potential drawn out and moving forward with your partner – completely in sync.

God made each one of us with a purpose. And none of us are complete by ourselves. We complete our purpose through connecting with others. So clear visions are not to analyze people but to bring great strength through unity. And that’s why marriage – the closest possible relationship we can have- is where vision is imperative.

Are you thinking, “OMG! I don’t have a clear vision!”?

It’s OK! Vision is not something you make- it’s something God prepares for you. But you don’t get it if you don’t search for it and seek it out…

So let go of past regrets and saying, “I should have done this…”
And let go of worries about the future and saying, “What if this ends up happening?”

Now, pray – just 3 words: “God, show me!”
And read the Bible – even just 1 page!

And seek out the vision that God wants to show you.

When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray.
But when you follow the revelation of the word, heaven’s bliss fills your soul. (Proverbs 29:18 TPT)
