Welcome to December, the Christmas season is here. We are looking forward to Christmas with you, whether you’re joining us online or in-person.

Our three week Christmas series is called “Emmanuel: God is with us”.

(Acts 17:27) God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.

One of the messages we have always been called to share as Lifehouse church is that God is close to us. As we enter the Christmas season let’s be reminded of these two things:

1. God is close to you. No matter the year you have had, God is close to you. You don’t have to look far, you don’t have to reach a certain level of “holiness” to find Him. He is close to you. Through the good and the bad. And always will be.

2. God is close to others. As we love our neighbours, let’s remember that God is close to them and wants them to find Him too. We have a great opportunity to share the reason we celebrate Christmas with those around us. So let’s invite, whether online or in-person, and believe the people around us will find Jesus as we celebrate Christmas.

From this Sunday our 11:30am service time is changing to 11am, so don’t forget to join us online half an hour earlier. We will be live from 10:45am this week on 12/5.

This month we also have two opportunities to gather in-person for the 11am service in Fukuoka.

December 12th will be in a new venue in North Tenjin, “Chikumokubiru” “チクモクビル” on the 4th floor. We will be continuing our Emmanuel series, and also be taking photos with Santa! It’s a great chance to invite friends to hear some of the Christmas story and have a great time together.

December 19th will be in Daimyo MK Hall for Christmas Carols and finishing the Christmas Story.
