We hope you had a great Easter. We really felt a fresh celebration this year over the Easter season and it has us excited for sharing this hope we have with others that haven’t heard.

In Fukuoka we had a great time in-person, meeting new families and friends that were invited. The kids had a blast in Kid’s church and finding 100 Easter eggs afterwards. Check out @fukuokfamilies to see the highlights.

This week we are celebrating 8 years since Lifehouse Fukuoka was planted! Celebrating what God has done, is doing, and will do through our church. We are excited to have both Ps Shiva, from Lifehouse Tachikawa, and Ps Lewis, from Lifehouse Osaka, joining us and sharing a great message. As we come up to this Sunday I want to highlight the two big reasons we celebrate:

Psalms 105:1 NIV
‘Give praise to the Lord , proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.

1. We celebrate to give God praise and keep a thankful attitude for all He has done.
2. We celebrate to share with others. We are here to reach people all across Fukuoka and Kyushu who haven’t heard the good news of Jesus, they won’t know what God has done for them if we don’t share it.

One other thing coming up in the next two weeks is our Heart for the Dream Team giving. We love our Dream Team, people in our church family who use the gifts God has given them to serve Him at church. This is an opportunity to give above our tithes towards equipment for our Dream Team to function. In Fukuoka we will be upgrading our projector to improve our in-person services. This will benefit everyone in the main hall, and also let’s us improve the Kid’s room for both parents looking after children and our Lifehouse Kid’s program.
