Thank you to everyone that joined our Zoom service on Sunday! It was great seeing you and sharing communion together. We will have another Zoom service next week (3/20) so if you want to join and see some more of the church family we would love to welcome you!

And while I’m excited to be together in-person to worship and see each other, I’m more excited for new opportunities to share the good news of Jesus with people who have never heard it. This past week I’ve heard a lot about the importance of holding onto vision from The Rodcast and the start of our Restore series. At Lifehouse our vision is twofold: Firstly, to share the good news of Jesus with people who have not yet heard. Secondly, to equip believers to make a difference. One of our key bible verses for this vision (and a key verse for most great churches) is:

(Matthew 28:18-20 NLT) Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

I love online and the people we can share with that simply have never had the opportunity to hear the gospel, let alone join a church service. And I love the atmosphere of being in the same room as other believers and worshiping God together. Either way we can fulfil the vision, so I want to encourage you to keep being part of seeing this vision worked out – however you’re joining us over the next month.
