Welcome to September, we hope you have had a great week as we head into the weekend. This week we are starting a new message series called “Filled”, focusing on the Holy Spirit in our lives. And of course we are excited that Connect Groups are back this weekend!

Last week during our 11:30am service livestream we asked people what they loved about Connect Group. Nearly every response was “encouraging and praying for each other”. This week in my journaling I was encouraged to do this more by Jude 1:20.
“But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit”

This verse wasn’t just a good reminder that this is part of what we do in Connect Group, but God encouraged me to do this even more in my own life: “when you see someone needing encouragement and exhortation: build them up.” I want to encourage you as we enter into this last semester of the year, be part of building the church up!
