TEJAS ASIA

Tejas Asia is a leading registered non-profit organization fighting global poverty based out of New Delhi, India. Through the Tejas Hope School community-based model, they are able to run quality educational programs that prepare underprivileged children for the government school entrance exam. The result is that children are given “a hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11) by being rescued from the streets and protected from child labor and exploitation.

Thanks to the generosity of the Lifehouse community, our Heart for Missions 2024 goal is to give 5 million yen towards Tejas Asia. This will provide up to 150 children in the Hope School with education, food and medical treatment for a year.

Our focus in India is to help the Hope School meet the basic needs of children from the slums of New Delhi. Education is the key to breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty. By providing the children with educational opportunities we hope to help them experience a better quality of life.
