Tejas Asia is a leading registered non-profit organization fighting global poverty based out of New Delhi, India. Through the Tejas Hope School community-based model, they are able to run quality educational programs that prepare underprivileged children for the government school entrance exam. The result is that children are rescued from the streets; protecting them from child labor and giving them a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Our focus in India is to support the Hope School and Hope Buses which provide food, education and basic needs to less privileged children from the poorest areas of New Delhi. Education is the key to breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty, by providing children with opportunities to escape poverty, gain a voice in their community and experience a better quality of life.

At Lifehouse we support more than 200 children in the Hope School program and also a further 240 children across the mobile school buses, where we take the program to other slum areas across New Delhi.
