This Sunday is Vision Sunday for Lifehouse church. And there are two great reasons I love it every year.
First, because it’s easy to get caught up in the day by day and miss the big picture of the journey God has taken us on. Vision Sunday is a chance to look back on the past year and see what God did and where He led us as a church.
Second, because we can only go where God is calling us as a church together!
(Romans 12:4-5) For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
We all have individual vision and purpose, but being a part of a church means we also get to join a bigger vision and purpose where we are. We don’t lose our vision, we gain more! And when we are moving together with the same vision we can do so much more than by ourselves. So come join us for Vision Sunday, whether in-person or online, and refresh your vision for 2022.
If you want to join us in-person in Fukuoka we will have a service at 11am, at Tenjin Chikumokubiru 4F. Sign-up via “Plan Your Visit” form to save your spot. If you want to join us online, we will be united with all other Japanese campuses as we combine to have one Online Campus for Lifehouse in Japan. There are 3 different ways you can join, so choose whichever suits you.

We have two more Sundays for our Heart for Missions giving. Like the vision of our church, Heart for Missions is more about what we can achieve together rather than on our own. So if you have a heart for giving, and would like to give in any capacity, know that you will be joining hundreds of others in our Lifehouse church family across the globe to be a great blessing to Tejas, Watoto, and other projects we feel called to support throughout the year. For more information on who we support and how to give, go to https://mylifehouse.com/hfm/.
We’re looking forward to this weekend together, and are praying for you and your families to have a safe, great 2022.
