It is the last weekend of January, and we had a great Vision Sunday last week hearing the theme and direction of our church for 2022 from Ps Rod. One person told me after the service “it was the perfect message at the perfect time”. If you missed the message, check it out here:

(Acts 3:19-20 MSG) Now it’s time to change your ways! Turn to face God so he can wipe away your sins, pour out showers of blessing to refresh you, and send you the Messiah he prepared for you, namely, Jesus.

If you hadn’t guessed our theme for the year yet, it is Refresh. That when we choose to change our thinking to line up with what God says, and we look at God with an open heart rather than hiding, He supernaturally refreshes us.

My favourite part of this theme I like to share with everyone is the picture of Refresh meaning “soul up”. That, like a cool breeze on a hot summer’s day, when we are refreshed our soul can – in a moment, go from down to up. From disappointed, to hopeful. From tired, to ready for what’s next. It’s not just emotional high, it’s a lift deep within your soul. I’m ready for a year of soul up and am excited to share it with others, I hope you are too!
